As the daughter of a ceramic artist and architect, Taylor's interest in design was fostered from a young age. She began an early career in the Bay Area as a graphic designer and co-founder of a silkscreen apparel company. In 2005 Taylor relocated to Los Angeles and embarked on her path as an interior designer, working as a project manager for several high end firms. Those formative years imparted an appreciation for the craft as well as lessons in space planning, scale, color theory, custom furniture design, art and antique procurement, and budget oversight. Taylor founded her own company in 2011 with an office based in northeast Los Angeles.

Taylor Jacobson Interior Design provides a range of professional services for both residential and commercial clientele including: furniture, lighting and accessory sourcing, material specifications and space planning for remodels or new construction, color and art consultation, as well as flat fee design guides for individual rooms. Acknowledging the collaborative nature of every project, Taylor draws on an extensive network of skilled craftspeople throughout the Los Angeles area to achieve the highest quality work possible.
